Since 2022
Born in Ukraine, Zoya has remained deeply committed to supporting individuals and families affected by the war since 2022. Her ongoing work reflects a profound connection to her heritage and a strong belief in the healing power of compassionate, culturally informed care.
Bondi Beach Community Counselling
Sydney, Australia — December 2025
Following the tragic Bondi Beach shooting in December 2025, Zoya served as a group counselling facilitator for the Sydney community, helping residents, witnesses, and first responders come together, process collective grief, and begin the journey towards healing. This work reflects Zoya's deep commitment to community wellbeing in times of crisis.
Caritas Italy — Volunteer Counsellor
Italy — International Humanitarian Work
In her earlier career, Zoya volunteered with Caritas Italy, one of the world's leading humanitarian organisations. This experience working with vulnerable communities across cultures deepened her empathy, cross-cultural competence, and commitment to accessible, human-centred care — values that remain central to her practice today.
